Here is the site (http://www.unavco.org/edu_outreach/data.html) that we should follow and ask them to modify to set up a San Andreas Fault-normal profile of velocity vectors to make a digital version of the GPS velocity exercise (as in: http://lidar.asu.edu/Data/TeacherTech/SAF_Regional_deformation.pdf).

Here is the link for Plate boundary observatory velocity field in KMZ:
pull it from http://pboweb.unavco.org-->tools-->mapping resources: Velocity Field (KMZ).
This will give a map of velocities relative to stable North America it looks like that will nicely show the plate boundary velocities.
