This dataset was collected as an NCALM Seed grant for PI Stephanie Garvis, University of Central Florida, in order to characterize sea grass beds along the coast of Florida, near Apalachicola, and parameterize storm surge and sea level rise models.
This survey was performed with an Optech Titan multispectral airborne LiDAR sensor mounted in a twin-engine Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain (Tail Number N640WA).
LiDAR data acquisition and processing completed by the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (NCALM
). NCALM funding provided by NSF's Division of Earth Sciences, Instrumentation and Facilities Program. EAR-1043051.
